About us
Monash Sustainable Buildings (MSB) is a multidisciplinary student-run team from Monash University, with the goal of developing unique and practical building solutions. Our designs aim to provide alternatives to address the climate issues impacting society, inspiring our vision of a green future.
Our mission:
To create sustainable design solutions for the built environment that give back to the wider community. To promote the importance of environmentally conscious design in mitigating the effects of climate change.
Our Goals
1. Design and prototype innovative, creative building solutions
We strive to develop new and inspiring solutions to address social, economic and environmental problems faced by society. Whilst our designs are sustainable, they are also feasible and beneficial.
2. Educate and drive sustainable design to be more widespread
We are committed to using our platform to stimulate active and insightful discussion around the topic of building better, raising awareness for the necessity of change.
3. Nurture a collaborative team environment
At MSB, we understand that true innovation is born from collaboration. We actively recruit a diverse team from a range of disciplines and promote a collaborative spirit, drawing on our range of expertise to pave the way towards our common goal.
