Project Syzygy
An innovative project called MSB x UMD Project Syzygy Creek aims to improve the stormwater drain on the industrial perimeter of the Monash Technology Precinct. As the current main focus of Monash Sustainable Buildings, this project aims to cross gaps caused by the drain and promote relationships amongst people. Even though Syzygy Creek is narrow, it grows into a lively intersection where routes meet, representing the life of the local business community and emphasizing the value of social infrastructure.
Its influence is deeply felt since it is ingrained in the community and strives to be an engaging story. In addition to maximizing space usage, the project aims to improve community cohesion and connectedness while keeping scalability in mind.
